What do they do?
The Healthy Schools initiative is a partnership between the Local Education Authority and the Public Health Development Service. It supports schools in becoming healthy learning communities through participating in the Healthy Schools' Programme.
What support is offered to Schools?
The programme aims to improve the health and well-being of children through creating a 'healthy' school environment, with the support of the Healthy Schools' staff members.
