The Woodland Trust provide a huge range of free, user friendly resources for woodland and outdoor based activities. There are sets of ID sheets and activities themed by the seasons.

Grow Your Own Potatoes

This is a curriculum-linked project that teaches primary aged children about potatoes. Register your school to receive a free potato growing kit, use the supporting lesson plans and worksheets and for a chance to win prizes and enter the competition once you have harvested.
