The centre has ramped access with handrails and a push button entrance door. Inside there is an accessible lift and toilet. The classroom is large enough to allow wheelchairs to move around freely and there are no fixed seats or tables that might create an obstacle. However, classroom doesn't have a hearing loop system.
The nature reserve is at the back of the centre: this is accessed by a wide smooth earth path. Some assistance may be required as the path can become rutted and there are a few inclines greater than 1 in 20.
The staff are willing to bring what can be found in the reserve to a more accessible part. Programmes and materials can be tailor made to suit the needs of the group.
To get the most out of your trip it is best to let the centre know of your requirements well in advance.
