Hulme Community Garden Centre is wheelchair accessible with wide smooth paths around the centre. The centre also has ramped access to the reception/shop area and to the strawbale classroom. Inside the classroom there is no fixed seating, so wheelchair users are able to use the space. The centre also has an accessible compost toilet which is able to be used by wheelchairs.
Pupils can learn about different aspects of food and plant growing through kinaesthetic activities and sessions can be tailored to suit the needs of the group. The education staff have experience of working with students and young adults with learning difficulties.
