Manchester Museum
Accessibility information

Each floor is accessible to wheelchairs and for those with low mobility there is an accessible lift for each exhibition floor.  They can also provide wheelchairs. Classrooms are spacious and can be accessed easily by wheelchairs.

The Education Department can provide data loggers and other resources suitable for children with learning difficulties. The museum can also provide different coloured overlays which can be put over the text displays and provide a descriptive tour for those with visual impairments. They have designed an application that can be uploaded onto a smart phone called Living Worlds which gives a virtual tour of the Living Worlds exhibition.
