The centre is wheelchair accessible with a ramped entrance into the building and cloakroom and a classroom which is wide enough for wheelchairs to move around in. There is no fixed seating in the classroom. The centre also has an accessible toilet which is suitable for wheelchair users and other impairments.
Outside the building there is a wildlife and pond dipping area which is accessed by a stone path which zig zags down to the accessible pond dipping platform. The path is accessible to wheelchair users though some assistance maybe required when crossing the bridge due to a ramped area before you cross it.
The Park service can adapt their programmes to suit the needs of the group and provide materials such as large print and information printed on different coloured backgrounds for those with slight visual impairments. However, it is a good idea for the school to request this prior to visiting the centre.
