MEEN's Autumn Tree Celebration and MEEN's 2023 AGM

We would like to invite you to a MEEN celebration of trees and our 2023 AGM which is being held on 16th November from 1pm - 4pm at Bridge 5 Mill, 22a Beswick Street, Ancoats, M4 7HR.

We will have contributions from MEEN's Treemarkable project including young people from St Augustine's Primary School and a soundscape experience, as curated by artist and PhD student Ryan Woods who produced the work with pupils from Heald Place Primary.

Canon Burrows Primary will share their insights on trees, we will learn about Street Trees, hear from City of Trees and find out about the project Treescapes from MMU: suffice to say it promises to be a great afternoon for dendrophiles!

MEEN's AGM will be the final part of the afternoon and we would welcome everyone's input, particularly if you are a MEEN member as you have the right to vote on any matters that arise. MEEN members join on a pay-as-you-feel basis and we welcome members who want to be a part of our work, who are active in the field of environmental education, or bodies such as schools and organisations.
