Southern Voices is a network of people from the so-called 'developing' world or Third World. Their aim is to put forward the views and perspectives of people from the global South on the issues concerning the 'developing' world.
What support is offered to Schools?
Southern Voices works across various sectors, including schools. They present issues of concern to people of the South, including perspectives from many different countries.
Example of activities
Southern Voices prefer to develop work in discussion with teachers. They use stories, objects and their own experiences to help children gain a deeper understanding of different countries, as well as their own, and to offer the opportunity to meet people from the global South.
