What do they do?

Biffa Award is part of the Landfill Communities Fund, providing grants to projects to improve local communities. Grants can be used to fund new roofs for village halls, safe spaces for younger people to play, new exhibitions that promote creativity and participation, and enhance land to protect nature's recovery.
You can apply for a grant under one of their four themes: Nature Recovery, Community Buildings, Recreation and Cultural Facilities. The project site must be based within 10 miles of a landfill site and within 5 miles of a Biffa operation or 10 miles of a Biffa landfill site.

What support is offered to Schools?

Biffa Award does not fund applications submitted by schools or projects on school grounds.
