Date: 22nd March 2019
Venue: Bridge 5 Mill, 22a Beswick Street, M4 7HR
This intergenerational and international conference focuses on the risks of climate change faced by local communities both in Manchester and Brazil. Working in partnership with the Sustainable Consumption Institute (Uni of Manchester) and Rachel Trajber, a Brazilian environmental educator and the Eco Team at MEAC, the conference explores using social cartography to map risks with high schools both here and in Brazil. Also participating are two Brazilian schools and the GM Fire Brigade with workshops from The Carbon Landscape, St Peter's High and Broadhurst Primary.
