Case Studies

MEEN creates case studies to form a library of our work. The case studies are situated around the projects we have run with the latest projects listed first.

More haste less waste (2022-2023) involved six schools auditing and cutting their waste streams. Here are case studies for four of the schools. From composting, organising fairs, to campaigning on vape waste, each school created their own unique response.

Plymouth Grove Primary
Stanley Grove Primary
Rushbrook Primary
Bowker Vale Primary

No time to waste (2021-2022) involved six schools auditing their waste streams, choosing their priority areas and taking action to reduce, reuse or recycle. One school reduced food waste and got creative with sewing, three schools composted, one set up a pre-loved uniform project, another a battery collection scheme, whilst some collected electrical goods for reuse/recycling and sorted out their paper use/reuse/recycling.
