What do they do?
We are City of Trees, the community forest for Greater Manchester. We plant trees for people; trees to create better, greener places; to boost health and wellbeing; to enhance green skills; and to tackle the climate and biodiversity emergency
What support is offered to schools?
We work with schools across Greater Manchester, greening school ground and creating woodlands on site. We supply free trees for schools, designing appropriate planting schemes for your site and leading tree planting days with pupils. This scheme is open to all educational institutions within Greater Manchester and we provide all the trees, tools and the expertise needed to create your very own woodland. All we need from you is permission, space to plant and enthusiastic pupils.
