What do they do?
The Woodland Trust are the UK's largest woodland conservation charity and their vision is of a world where woods and trees thrive for people and nature.
What support is offered to schools?
The Green Tree Schools Award has seen over 22K schools across the UK registered at some point. It's totally free and engages schools with woods, trees and nature through inspiring activities and challenges that they gain points for through the levels to Gold and Platinum. At Gold, schools are awarded with a wooden plaque.
Our Tree Tools for Schools website has loads of free resources to support our award scheme and free trees schemes. It includes environmental activities, tick sheets, crafts and games for year-round outdoor learning.
For more on our free trees scheme please see the funding opportunities section, here.
