What do they do?
Surfers Against Sewage campaign to end toxic pollution of the environment for the benefit of in-water users and coastal communities.
What support is offered to schools?
Plastic Free Schools is a pupil-led programme from Surfers Against Sewage that empowers young people to tackle single-use plastic and make a lasting difference for the environment. Linked to key curriculum targets, it equips pupils to speak up and drive change in their school and beyond.
Previously an accredited programme where schools had to submit evidence, Plastic Free Schools is now an open access resource that schools can complete in their own time.
