What do they do?

RHS Garden Bridgewater is a spectacular 154-acre garden, set within the historic grounds of Worsley New Hall in Salford. With fantastic facilities including a bespoke Learning Studio, Peel Learning Garden and Woodland Play area, Bridgewater is the perfect place to bring your pupils.

What support do they offer schools?

As well as offering guided visits with workshops for Primary and Secondary schools – covering topics related to plants, food, rocks and soils, sustainability, habitats, and more – they also have a range of resources for self-guided visits covering many parts of the school curriculum including art, numeracy, wellbeing and the natural world.

The workshops are interactive and practical with a focus on learning through play, exploration, working together and asking questions.

All pre-booked visits are currently free (and limited Travel Grants are available for eligible schools) but they recommend a donation of £3 per child.
