What do they do?
Manchester City Council is keen to support schools in Manchester to decarbonise and become more environmentally aware in line with the DfE's climate change strategy.
What do they offer schools?
They have a dedicated member of staff who runs networks for the schools and colleges in the North, Centre and South of the city to share information and practice as well as settings to develop their own climate action plans. Meetings run virtually every half-term in a workshop style, with each focusing on a specific climate change theme. If you are unable to attend the meetings, the minutes and resources can be found on the schools hub (For the login details please email Rob on the contact above). They can also support schools/colleges with their own climate action plan.
