What do they do?

Meanwood Valley Urban Farm has a great deal to offer schools and other youth groups. They are a working farm; with sheep, cows, pigs, goats, chickens and a variety of smaller animals. In addition to animals, they have woodland, meadowland and three ponds on site. The EpiCentre and Farm offer many examples of sustainable development.

What support is offered to Schools?

The farm building is an example of environmental sustainability; they have farm animals, the market garden growing vegetables, and environmental projects tailored to the National Curriculum. These include: Discovering Mini-beasts, Rocks and Soils, and the Compost Project, amongst others.
