What do they do?

The Agricultural and Rural Centre is a community farm offering young people aged 7 years to 13 years the chance to gain hands on experience of caring for farm animals and looking after the land. Young people will have the opportunity to feed, groom and handle animals, walk alpaca's and goats, make scarecrows, plant vegetables or build a duck pond as well as and much more.

What support is offered to Schools?

The ARC is tailor made for anybody who has a disability or disadvantage; giving them the opportunity to work with farm animals and horticultural land in a purpose build Centre. They will also do school visits, run incubator schemes and can deliver a mobile farm. They offer a unique service in this area, one that has valuable benefits, whether to experience the fun of working outdoors or to study for an accreditation or job.
