What do they do?
The Country Trust is a charity dedicated to bringing alive the working countryside for children least able to access it. This is done through curriculum linked activities such as farm visits, food enterprise projects, cooking and growing activities, all of which are free of charge to schools.
What support is offered to Schools?
The Country Trust runs various programmes including Farm Discovery, Food Discovery and Farm in a Box as well as Countryside Residentials. The services of the Trust are completely free, there are no entrance fees to sites and they can help the school with the cost of transport. For details click here.
