What do they do?
They provide inspiring opportunities for young people to enjoy and value the Peak District National Park; enable all to engage with the natural environment through direct experience and support and encourage people to secure a sustainable future for the Peak District National Park.
What support is offered to schools?
The Learning and Discovery Team provide high quality education services providing curriculum-based school visits for young people from EYFS right through to A-level students. For EYFS and primary aged children days involve exploring nature in our woodland or learning about rivers, hills and valleys in the Peak District Moorland. Secondary groups practice geographical and scientific enquiry using our rivers and moorlands with our knowledgeable rangers guiding the day.
