What do they do?
The RSPB is the country's largest nature conservation charity, inspiring everyone to give nature a home. Together with our partners, we protect threatened birds and wildlife so our towns, coast and countryside will teem with life once again.
What support is offered to Schools?
They provide free on-line resources on birds, nature and storytelling. Every year schools participate in the Big Schools Birdwatch which takes place every January to February. For information about the Big Schools Birdwatch click here.
Example of activities
Pupils can take part in living classrooms which is where pupils can learn outside the classroom at one of the RSPB's designated field sites. For school trip ideas click here.
