Job Vacancy

Who is MEEN and what do we do?

MEEN is a small NGO set up in 1994 which works throughout Greater Manchester. We have extensive experience sharing good practice in Environmental Education working with schools, colleges and universities across the region. We facilitate the development of collaborative learning amongst education professionals, focus on inter-generational learning by giving pupils and students a voice and organise exciting projects working with young people.

We are looking for a new member of our team to deliver projects and help build our capacity. The climate is changing and so too is the curriculum. In the recent Government Response to the Curriculum and Assessment Review The Department of Education has confirmed they intend to embed both climate change and nature education into the curriculum by including them in a wider range of subjects. To support schools in achieving this we need to be able to provide the hands-on support requested in educational settings, explore new avenues to sustain our delivery and improve and update the materials on our website.

Closing date: 3rd June 2026 at 5pm.
Interview day: 18th June 2026 in Manchester.
